Memphis @ Los Angeles Clippers, 1/4/2017

Recommended Posts

Not a good couple of games but happy that the season is long and helps fix the issues. Warriors is going to be an L. The main thing is beating the Jazz.

All in all not even half way in the season, so going to have bad runs and good runs. Hopefully this bad run doesn't last long.Still wasn't a good loss

Also 11 straight wins for Sean Wright when he refs Clippers' games. He must be a great good luck charm.

I think we have to play Troy Williams again.

Daniels/Parsons are killing us defensively.

I just knew someone was going to bring Parsons name up in a game he didn't even play in. I know, I know, you're not just talking about this game, yeah right.

If you want to solve some problems bring Troy Williams back.

What problems would that solve? I like Williams and all but he's not solving any problems that this team has.

So we're just going to let it slide that one of our highest paid players is not contributing, and is still far away from contributing this season? lol that Laker game was bloody painful to watch. My grandma can hustle through screens faster than Parsons

If you want him to get some burn, just send him to the D-league already.

Who's letting anything slide? This thread is about the Clipper game and he didn't play in teh Clipper game. Why not blame JAm while you're at it or B Wright or Davis? They helped lose the Clipper game just as much as Parsons did.

Yeah cause we only post game related content on our game threads right?

I was saying that Troy should get minutes, but instead we're giving it to Parsons.

Just stop making us watch a supposed scorer who's getting paid top dollar but not able to make a jumpshot to save his life right now.

If he's not ready, dont play him.

I agree don't play him if he's not ready, I have said that several times. My thing is, who is making the decision to play him? It's not Parsons himself. Parsons didn't send Williams to the D-League. Let's focus on who  is making the decisions as opposed to making comments about players who didn't even play. It's clear that he's not ready to play and contribute but I don't put that on Parsons.

No energy...TW will bring that. Ennis is active. Conley looks slow

Yes, he brings energy but he had fallen out of the rotation and was sent to the D-League. Obviously, Fizz doesn't value whatever energy he brings, Not only that, bringing energy isn't enough. It has to be positive energy.

It'd be different if Parsons had ONE good game.

Just to prolong an argument, could we say that Parsons didn't have a bad game if he doesn't play?

Well it wasn't a good one either!

It's just highly discouraging that he hasn't had a single good game yet

TD's shooting stats are starting to look like OJ Mayo's.

Great game, dud, dud, meh, great game, ....

And Jarell may not be even a 15th man.

Jarrell is one of those players that doesn't really fit into any specific positional mold...but unlike a Draymond Green type, he lacks the skill and physical tools to transcend that and become a swiss-army knife type of player.  So instead, he fits nowhere and isn't really that good at anything.

I can't see what has happened to Jarell, the guy has got the tools, he's got a great stroke on the ball, I think everything is so geared to the BIG THREE that he and JMG are very hesitant to shoot the ball. JMG had a great game and he follows it up with 4 shots in the next 1. I think someone has screwed JMs mind up.

Jarrell is really good for like a quick 4-5 minute spark off the bench to score a few key baskets and fill in where needed, but he's just not any good with full minutes.

Looks like TD is the same

TD plays surprisingly solid D, he is always always needing a body right up on him for his shot creating great spacing. He can get on fire, totally understand him getting minutes. Even if he's off, he's going to provide spacing

I think you're exaggerating a bit.  Out of 12 games played he has been a plus in half of them, several times a double digit plus.  He has never played 24 minutes in a game yet, most games his minutes are in the teens, yet he has scored 12 points in under 24 minutes twice and nine twice in fewer minutes.  Unless you have some unreasonable expectation of what a "good game" is, I would say those qualify.  Those games were prior to the bone bruise though.  Be patient, he'll get there.

Always someone else's fault, huh?
